Kiyomiu Lore:

I was born into the Imperial Family of Althariel, the most revered house in the kingdom of Sahmaz. Our ancestral estate stood proudly within the heart of the capital, a place of grandeur and tradition, where every stone and tapestry whispered of centuries of rule and duty. My father, the esteemed lord of our house, was a pillar of strength and wisdom in the court: a master of strategy and diplomacy, his name known throughout the kingdoms near and far. Though the comforts of royalty surrounded me, life in the imperial family was far from simple. My mother was elegant, reserved and carried herself with such dignity. From as early as I can remember, her demeanor towards me was cold and distant, as if the weight of the my presence was a constant irritation she had to endure. The term "Daughter" felt more like a duty than a beloved child. Her words were measured and her patience thin. Though she never showed outright disdain for me, her coldness stung all the same. “You're too sensitive, get over it,” she would say whenever I dared to show vulnerability or emotion.Much of my childhood was spent in solitude, despite the bustle of the palace around me. Father was often absorbed in matters of state, and Mother kept herself busy planning Banquets and engulfs herself in politics. I wasn’t free to roam or play like other children - I was a princess first, a girl second. Instead, I found refuge in the palace’s vast library, losing myself in books about herbs, healing, and... romance! It was there that I found solace.Everything changed the day I ventured into the enchanted forest that bordered our kingdom. Amidst the tall ancient trees, I stumbled upon a mysterious egg unlike any I had ever seen. Its surface pulsed softly with magic, warm to the touch and humming with life. From it hatched a small creature with green scales that shimmered like stardust and eyes full of wonder. I decided to call him Nyomsy! Nyomsy was no ordinary companion; he was a spirit of the forest, drawn to me by a bond older than time itself. He told me he had been waiting until the one destined to awaken him arrived.Nyomsy quickly became my closest friend. Together, we explored the mysteries of magic and medicine, imagining a life beyond the confines of royal expectation. Though I could not tear down the walls that surrounded me, with Nyomsy by my side, it felt less suffocating. He gave me hope and a sense of purpose. He was also quite adorable! On my eighteenth birthday, Father presented me with a finely crafted pendant, that framed a heart and had an emerald jewel in the center. “Our legacy is not just in birthright,” he said quietly, “but in how you choose to carry it.” That night, I made a decision.I would forge my own path. With Nyomsy as my guide, I embraced my gifts as a healer - both learned from the apothecaries of Sahmaz and gifted through the magic flowing within me. I vowed to serve my kingdom not from a throne or court, but through the art of healing, bringing hope those in need.Though my duties bind me to the Imperial Family, I am no mere ornament of royalty - I am Kiyomiu Althariel, healer, protector, and daughter of Sahmaz.
And my story is only just beginning.
